古巴 马拉戈日皮 Cuba maragogype elephant bean green bean

象豆,巨形咖啡豆(Elephant bean),它比其他咖啡豆大3倍甚至更多,分类学名称是马拉戈日皮(Maragogype),源自巴西巴伊亚(Bahia)州的马拉戈日皮(Maragogype)县,1870年在该县第一次确立了巨形咖啡豆在分类学上的地位,是一个阿拉比卡衍生种(杂交品种)。
古巴,加勒比海中最大岛屿,岛型狭长, 东西达1200KM,高山集中在东西两端。属于热带气候。语言是西班牙语,英语也很普遍。是共产制度国家。世界唯一法律规定严禁失业的国家。
古巴咖啡分为9个等级,Crystal mountain 是最高级的。古巴水晶山咖啡,产自古巴中部Escambray山区。一种带有加勒比海风情的咖啡,有香、甜细腻气味,其豆子颇为大颗(*),看起来卖相相当好,香味充分,质感中等,酸味不强,算是特色十分均匀的豆子。甜味、酸味、苦味平衡,甘甜爽口,香气直抵鼻腔,酸质细腻柔润顺口,口感圆润粘度佳,味道有些类似蓝山。
烘培方式:浅度 ~ 中度
口感:明亮、爽朗的酸味。



















据我所知巨型豆种植于危地马拉,是由杰苏依特于1750年植入危地马拉后传入墨西哥
在墨西哥最好的巨型豆叫利基丹巴尔。种植于墨西哥南部的恰帕斯。
那么古巴咖啡豆是哪年开始种植的。

Less than 100 years later, in 1827, Cuba already had more than 2,000 coffee plantations, the ruins of many of which have survived the passage of time - like the famous Angerona - and have been declared Humankind's Heritage by UNESCO.
另一篇文章:coffee production was introduced to Cuban society in the mid-18th century. By the year 1790, Cuba was a main exporter to Spain; soon French coffee farmers fleeing the Haitian revolution established themselves in Cuba, furthering the coffee industry on the Island. The Island's environment of high humidity and undisturbed soils fostered the development of the industry.
可能是 1748年,咖啡被引种到古巴。
马拉格日皮(象豆),中南美好几个国家都有少量种植。产量低,味道不是特别优异,但物以稀为贵。
